Busy

I'm kind of neglecting this blog at the moment. Sorry.

I was away last week and I'm head down into editing Zend Framework in Action. It's amazing how many details the technical proof reader and our copy editor have found. The book is going to be so much better as a result. I need to go through each suggestion though and ensure that the meaning hasn't changed and to implement the suggested technical changes.

When I get a little time, I'll try and write up what I've learnt recently about testing with Zend_Test_PHPUnit_ControllerTestCase which has reduced the testing scaffolding that I had by around 50% or so.

    Can't you just rewrite the entire book and add Zend_Test_PHPUnit_ControllerTestCase to it? Also I hear there is Scaffolding on it's way. Hmm.. Hold on let me list all of the proposals out there.

    Just Kidding. Great work with the book. I enjoyed the MEAP feature and can't wait for the print edition to arrive.

    Very nice work on the book so far. I learned a lot from the MEAP. Will you be including Zend_Dojo also?

    @zaman:

    ZF doesn't have any code for Offline Browsing. You need to develop your application (in any framework) to work with Google Gears.

    @John :
    why when use Zend_Auth, offine diabled?

    @zaman
    He said there's no code for offline browsing in the whole ZF.
    Have a look at Google Gears, it's quite nice.
